" My story is a little different,  I’ll start by saying, the images and presentation of the work displayed here are a close resemblance of myself,

Beautifully imperfect representations of moments pasted.

 

What you are seeing here is the result of consistent failures and refinements made by a multi-faceted young man from the city of London, advocating and inspiring other young people who dare to be great in the face of adversity.  My life has followed many paths, converging at a cross road of mental health battles, which have served as both my biggest obstacle and my biggest fuel on road to motivating others.

​

I clicked the shutter for the first time over 10 years ago and out came an image of a woman dressed and ready to attend a special occasion. 

Her face lit up at the image that she saw, that young woman was my mother, so naturally after that moment I was designated photographer of the family. It was great, it was fantastic… okay I admit it did get bothersome, I really wanted to just eat food at the parties instead but admittedly the results were well worth it.

 

I eventually went onto exploring other media mediums Adding;

Graphic design, product design, Sound design, pianist, opera choir singer & writer to my creative diaspora.

Photography aside, my interest in other creative arts grew, becoming a Music producer and DJ for a number of years gaining notoriety within the city.

An intense 5 year bout with mental health would soon proceed…

The relentless battle that transpired had introduced new feeling and emotions I had never been exposed to, further emphasised by the world wide lockdown that had which we all involuntarily took part in. It was at this point photography had found me once again… this time in a form of an old Canon, It served as a crutch to lean on in times when the anxiety of being outside was too much, when the weight of the world got too heavy, I would find something to shoot.

 

I found beauty in nature and safety Inside that view finder,

producing beautifully imperfect representations of moments pasted in the face of adversity continuously repeatedly. Reinstating confidence within myself as the creative producer that I am."

Londnmade is a story of the children of London, seeded in a concrete jungle where the temptation of money, drugs and violence make little room for growth. Londnmade is a story of resilience and overcoming. Londnmade is the story of London depicted through a creatives eye. Londnmade could be your story but defiantly mine.
